The Loopy StoryLoopy Lisa is Lisa Hodgson, who produces her unique range of handmade fudges at her fudge kitchen near Bishop Auckland in County Durham. Loopy Lisa's fudges are made using only top-quality ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible. Her recipes are adapted from a traditional Women's InstiMe template, using all butter and evaporated milk. Only natural ingredients used to flavour the fudges, with no colourings, preservatives or artificial flavourings added. There is no difference between the way Lisa's fudges are made, and the way you would produce them at home - she just makes lots more, to satisfy her ever-hungry customers. The only machinery in Lisa's fudge kitchen is a set of weighing scales. Lisa began making fudges for friends and family while still at university. She went on to launch her own fudge business in 2004, starting out by making the sweets in her kitchen at home in Loop Lane, Butterknowle, County Durham. Hence the reason for the name Loopy Lisa, although most people think the name stems from Lisa's own personality! The business has won numerous Great Taste Awards, with the vanilla, treacle, ginger, lemon and lime and raspberry ripple fudge varieties all scooping gold medals. already having a wide range of interesting and unusual fudge flavours . www.loopylisasfudge.co.uk Tel 01388 835 135
