Why Register?

• As a member of the club, once you have registered you can be given certain rights to access different parts of the web site. These areas will be known as The Members Secure Areas. You will see extra menus and be able to submit or edit (if you are given the rights) articles.
• As a non member, if you register you can be updated with relevant news about The Rotary Club of Grantham. This will be useful to you, particularly if you are considering joining Rotary.

How do you register?

Quite simply:-

• At the bottom left of the front page you will see the login area.
• Below this area is a link (Create an account). Click on this.
• A registration form will then display requesting the following:-
• Your Name: (i.e. Jim Metcalf)
• Your user name: ( use a name you can remember i.e. Jimmy. If someone else has alredy chosen that name you will be asked to give another username.
• Your email address: This is the email address that you wish to use for any communications from this web site. Please ensure the address is both current and correct.
• Your Password: Try and make is at least 6 characters long. It is more secure if you use upper and lower case and numbers as well as letters. (Please note, your password is encrypted in the web site database so only you will know your password)
• Having entered the above detail click the 'Register' button.

What happens next?

• An email will be sent to the email address you gave with a link included to finalise your registration. It will also include the username and password you gave.
• When you receive the email just click on the link and your registration will be complete.

Note: Depending on how your email account is set up it is possible that the confirmation email may end up in your junk mail or spam mail folder. Please ensure that emails from this account are registered as being safe and not junk. Any questions on how to do this contact The Web Master.

• Once registration is completed the web master will be notified that a new registration has taken place. The web master will give you the appropriate rights.
• The next time you visit www.granthamrotary.org and login with your username and password you will be able to view the appropriate menus.
